the one day i decided to wear my helmet and not put the bucking strap on my saddle was the day i ran a barrel pattern and the cinch on my saddle broke running home. I snapped the visor thing on my helmet the snapping coulda been my neck. And i didnt put my bucking strap on which was good bc the saddle woulda slipped under my horse and she woulda put her leg in between the saddle and bucking strap. Your horse could be the best behaved horse in the world. But what if something like that happens?

Yea, I guess it is annoying when people keep saying ''wear your helmet!''. I mean we all do our choices. But I do understand them... I had a big accident last summer and it left me horrible scars, I always wear a helmet now XD It took me to got involved in an accident to understand that your helmet could save you.

ok so this is my new account but i am the one that made/uploaded this video.

FIRST OFF.... the helmet.... where i was showing it was a rule that if you were under the age of 18 and racing you had to wear a helmet. i had no choice in the matter, when riding at home i did not wear a helmet as you can tell from the other pictures.

SECOND. the horse some of you are saying is 'starved' and 'skinny', she was a yearling! they have stages where they get ribby, thank you to those of you who knew

if you show english you have to wear a helmet so you may as well start wearing one now . and you know what maybe loads of people dont wear one and they might never get hurt or never know anyone who got hurt becuase of a lack of a helmet but you wear a seatbelt in a car becuase you know it would be stupid not to , you probably wont get hurt but another car could crashinto you . horses are unpredictable just like another driver you shouldnt take a change , just wear a friggin hat !
