That was not a jab at Sunday in the Park with George, he was just stating the fact that most musical do not take place after WWII, with exceptions of course, he needed to mention this so that people underestant why Rent gave him, era wise, permission to do something besides a london/paris 18th century musical.

I love In The Heights, it is such a good musical. It is also one of my favorites, right up there with Cats and Phantom.

Unnecessary jab at Sunday in the Park with George for being about "Paris" or "London" in the 18th Century. that's amazing too!
