this is one of jt's most important works in my opinion. he espouses his basically agnostic yet very spiritual take on things. it's somewhat victorian in the aspect that he places the greater importance in the process of getting somewhere and not on the the destination,,,it's not that we get there but the integrity of the means by which we get there that really matters...work of genius.

I too love this song and I'm a huge fan of James Taylor. He must have had a great time being around a bunch of wild Italian musicians, they're an actual band called Elio E Le Storie Tese, and they are famous for being funny, intelligent and highly skilled musicians. They've also covered Frank Zappa pieces with Ike Willis (who used to sing for Frank). They're impressive.
