The Polish have been one of our staunchest and most underrated allies. I feel bad for the lack of respect we show to the former Eastern European nations that resisted/broke away from Soviet control and have sought true respect from the US and never gotten it. As an American soldier I consider the British, Canadians, Australians, NZ, Australia, Israelis and now Japanese as true allies and would be willing to fight along side any of them.

Where the hell are you getting your facts, son? The USA entered the war in '41, The Germans had already routed the British, French, and Belgians at Dunkirk, and were bombing Britain day and night. And a military that can afford to throw that much men and material into RUSSIA at ONCE doesn't seem drained to me. The Italian's were not an effective force on their own, and almost always lost battles without Germany's help. Don't downplay our participation, we fought and died with you.
