Car mows down crowd during San Francisco World Series Riot

I had a view from the roof above the corner of 21st and Mission St. on November 1. People were at first celebrating, then burning a mattress in the street when a car drove through the crowd, mowing down the people in the intersection.

I agree with most of the post. The driver was being attacked and was trying to escape. He might have had is family in there. What would you do? Let them get killed beaten or raped just to keep from running over a few people who should not be in the street anyway. People who are part of mobs have to realize that their safety is their responsibility not everybody elses.
