This is not the film directed by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Louis Malle in 1956 (that latter was "The Silent World"). This is "World Without Sun", directed in 1964 by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, his wife Simone Cousteau and Albert Falco.

It has already been release in Blu-ray. I already bought my copy.

Silent World has also been release.

Yes, Silent World has been available in Asian markets for awhile. The copies look legit, but there's no way to tell if they've been bootlegged. I purchased one in Cambodia, of all places.

This is the real thing. It was release by A&E and it is legit. I bought it at Amazon.

Your welcome. This has never been publicly distributed. I loved it so much that I looked for years and finally bought an old film print on eBay and had it transferred to video.

I am a film maker too, and did think twice before uploading it. Like you, I love the film - it should be seen. I looked all over for the distributor, and even contacted the various Cousteau factions, none of whom held the rights. They were it appears owned by a now defunct French motion picture entity, and I was told there was no plan for it to be released for home distribution. So I thought no one would be compromised by my posting it. I since think it has appeared in an anthology.
