Be Vegetarian -- Part 3 Transcription

There are many synthetic products now on the market that look just as good as leather products. Promote those products. Once you do this you are becoming more and more vegetarian.

Avoid eating eggs because the yoke of the egg is full of cholesterol. The method of producing eggs is also unnatural. Chickens are fed special ingredients mixed into their food in order to produce more eggs. Their body suffers from the increased production of eggs. Their life span is shorter because of it and so they are slaughtered for their meat.

These are just a few examples of the cruelty inflicted on animals in order to produce these products for human consumption. We need to either stop using the products or boycott their use.

If you can be fully vegetarian eat produce that grows from the earth directly. If you have a pet animal, like a cow or sheep, care for them well, treat them humanely, and use the milk when you need it. This is acceptable. Meat on the other hand is not good for health; it will shorten your life. You will suffer from ailments like high blood pressure, cholesterol, and you might end up needing a major and costly surgery to correct your problems.

If you cannot be a strict vegetarian at least be moderately vegetarian. Vegetables pass through your system fast, within 12 hours. This is not so with meat. By protecting animals humanity can bring beauty to the planets.

Follow non-violence by becoming vegetarian. Feel oneness with every living being - human, animal and vegetation. You do not have to cut the apple tree in order to get one apple. The tree stays alive. You cannot eat beef by just cutting a small part of the animal. You have to kill the whole animal. Think about all these things.

Gandhi was invited to London to see if he could be converted to Christianity. The thought was that if he was to be converted all of India would become Christian. Does conversion make the world better? No. Just teach good things to people, don't try to convert them. Gandhi was staying with a family and they served him meat. He objected and refused to eat it. The children of the host asked him why he was vegetarian. He said simply that he did not wish to kill animals or a tree for one apple or a tomato plant for one tomato. That night instead of Gandhi being converted to Christianity the children ended up following Gandhi's teaching.

Vegetarianism has positive effects on a person -- good health, good energy flow and clears body channels. Be vegetarian and be non-violent.

  • I've noticed a lot of negative comments from people who belong to other religions and from angry meat-eaters. Why do you people even bother coming on here to bother us? If you only come here to cause discord, then you should leave and do not come here to disturb people who are seeking wisdom.

  • why kill for sustenance when you can be part of the ecosystem we were supposed to be and eat what is provided for us from plants?

  • eating meat makes you fat and greasy.

  • @abhishekutkarsh Man, that sucks.

That's why I'm Athe....and because Gods and things like that are only an idea (like saying that the God of the PC is Processoron ...Look, I just created a God! haha)...

  • @iloveterriers Wisdom from a fool can only result in salvation into foolery. A fool's logic fails to reason anything but foolishness.

  • christian missionairies are a headache.

they converted two of my family member.

  • i am vegetarian, it rocks!!! i feel healthier and fresh! and i dont feel guilty for eating animals!

anyway, eating meat makes you fat and greasy.

  • @piccolovic You can do it if you put your mind to it :)

Watch Food Inc., Fowl Play and Meet Your Meat if that helps you to stick with it.

  • @typeclash I thought chickens are supposed to lay 1 egg a day as well. Anyway, his point is that they're given steroids and what not to lay more eggs than they normally would.

You (and everyone here) should watch Fowl Play, it will change they way you look at eggs. May sound funny but it's really not...

  • This is why I like Hindu Gurus and Hindu religion because they always advise people to stop hurting animals. It really makes me very much sad when I see people torturing animals

  • I eat eggs but not the yolk. I used to have 2 chickens as pets and they always ate vegetables and some chicken feed. They always produced one egg(brown) a day. I didnot give them anything to do that. it was nature. For a lot of the times I did not want to spend the money to buy feed so we gave them all the vegatbles scraps.and they used to graze on the grass in the forest near my house.

But I love the idea of vegetarian but I crave meat after a few dayswhat can I do?I need to be veg.to lose wt.

  • I was a rastafarian a long ago and I was vegetarian and I did follow all the rules.
