i personally think battlestar galactica is better then this because its graphics are better or the same and its a free download and free everything. but eve onine will always be the best!

guys the game is way different now,photons suck the only good torpedoes are quantums and you cant kill stuff nearly as easily

EVE is a great game, ST:O might be as well. With the skill book based style of progression in EVE the two games wouldn't really even compete for time, you could advance in both. That's not too cheap though, but still, I think they both have a lot to offer a sci-fi gamer.

@FilthCrow pfft, it's possible. However getting out of your ships will be complicated for a game that does'nt have it. You need character customization, ground designs, new animations, new skills, etc..... By the time EVE gets ground (which will probably be only a couple maps), STO will have gotten season 7 out and the game will be 20 times better then it was.
