Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - War Tapes & HIFI Sound Settings Comparison

A setup scene in the PC BETA of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the Port Valdez Map.
I planned out a quick run through the first outpost on this map and filmed the scene twice, once with the War Tapes sound setting, and one with the HIFI (Default) sound setting.
I tried my best to make the scenes as identical as possible, I think I got it fairly accurate!
War Tapes seems to make all sounds have a higher presence, such as ambient noises, it also seems to make sounds a bit sharper than usual. Everything becomes quite loud aswell.
I'll be using this setting when I'm just going to play alone and enjoy myself.
HIFI is your everyday sound setting. Gunfire, Explosions, etc. are very noticeable and of high quality but ambient noises are quite dampened. This is perfect for when you're playing with friends and communicating over Ventrilo because the game sounds aren't as dominant.
This video can make it seem like HIFI is quite crap but that's not really true. When you're playing on a full server with some actual war going on around you, the sounds are bloody awesome.
NB: YouTube might not accurately reflect the exact ingame sounds because sound quality might lower after YouTube has processed the video.

The only difference I noticed are that the War Tapes sounded a lot more environmental, as in you could hear the wind more clearly, and the gunshots and explosions were louder and echoed a lot more... All in all I really prefer wartapes, makes me sink into the game that much more
