People why so many tears? Whats wrong with that he died, you wanted him to live forever or what? lol, as he said himself, dying means transforming your body to a simple structure of existence. There's no reason to cry, but there's a reason to remember him for ages.

I love george carlin. And yes I am a christian. And even if he didn't believe in god, he still deserves a place like heaven. Yes he cursed a lot, and yeah he was a "hippie" but those were his best qualities. Whenever I had a bad day, I would put a DVD I have of him on and by the end I'm laughing hysterically. He deserves to rest in peace for the great things he has done for comedy and the fact that he could have a long and happy career. He has lasted longer than any other comedian in history be

@FAKEPAIN Seven Words was a great sketch, no doubt, but it was by no means his most interesting or funny routine. I think he got better with age - like a fine wine!
