  • do you really think so, planetjanet2? I think Justin is always a bit serious, IMHO. John, however, seems as connected to the audience as ever. I hope they still have the passion for performing - at their age and I'm sure with the money they've made, why would they bother if they didn't enjoy it? My two cents.....

  • Dang, the last 20 sec of this vid really rock! Justin & Norda tear it up!

  • its a very serious song...so justin always playes it so seriously

  • by FAR the BEST version of GYPSY LIVE on you tube.Audio is not distorted like many others...whoever posted this--can you REPOST the COMPLETE song--this video is missing the beginning intro...

  • I agree with skillwho1. Love to hear this latest version of the band play Gypsy. Love Ray always, of course, but Norda rocks!

  • @MinnesotaNice64 i totally agree Justin is great! and his hair will never go grey LOL:)

  • the Moody Blues, after almost 44 years or so with Justin Hayward and John Lodge, still continue to sound as good as ever live and with Gypsy (a personal favourite)from 1969's music album"To Our Children's, Children's Children. This Live Version of Gypsy, over a year ago in 8th August, 2009 from Indiana, USA, proves the Moodies, keep rocking on and hopefully a new album in the future too... :)

  • ah well, money gets spent doesn't it? Of course they love it. And they seem to be having a wonderful time. Gasping for breath? Not likely. I gasp, though, for the amazing voice that Justin has and the vitality of the Moody Blues!

  • if I thought for one minute that the moodies were not enjoying playing their concerts , I would no longer go, these videos do not show me much joy

  • He gasps for breath.

faster than it used to be?
