OMG. I have looked for this for years. I had no idea of the song's name or the band's identity. All I had was some snatches of lyrics, the bass line and addled memories. It was Aristrurtle89's comment that Google picked up on and here I am. Love it.

@miragefoto There was an ad campaign on TV around the time this came out using the slogan Eat Yourself Fitter so I guess it came from there (unless the song inspired the ad campaign of course). Ironically the ad campaign was banned on the grounds that eating yourself fitter is a contradiction in terms. As for the rest of it ... well - it is what it is.
