@ussenterprisenxo1 Yeah, An american company coming up with the GTO moniker and then ferrai copying it. lol. dont be stupid. Ferrari made the 250 GTO in 1962 and the pontiac GTO was launched in 64. Ignorance is alright, but dont go posting on the web with it.

@aprilglaspieable I agree! My dad had a black "61 convert. I still love it, though it's been gone for years. I never did like GTO's,but I like this song.

The engineers at Pontiac made their 389 CID engine an option on the mid size Tempest and called the option package GTO, which copied Ferrari's GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato) model. The car that was marketed under a Tiger motif, but soon became known as the "Goat".

@CaptainJimKirk lol you been watching british topgear too long the gto was made by pontiac made the gto in the 60s and stop for more than the century allmost. ferriari came in to the picture way after the gto was made they started back on gto in the early 2000s just go search up the year ferriari on wikapeda and see when the compainy was created and then search up the 67 pontiac gto
