Some high-speed (120 to 1000 FPS) footage of a steam whistle and two of the steam engines in our fleet of boats. Shot with a Casio Exilim FC-150 and a GoPro Hero HD for the underwater footage of the prop.

  • Love the slo mo. I have the same camera. Use it mostly for filming my golf swing. I do have some slo mo model rocket take offs. Check em out.

  • @bigtorque Pretty amazing, the frame rates you get with the FC-150, isn't it?

  • great, very interesting to see.

  • awesome just awesome

  • for some reason in slow mo there is like breathing to life

  • @Rapidnadion even without the perfect angle... it's still facinating to watch.

  • @xKmotx Thanks - I wish Casio would have left the mic enabled in high-speed mode, but I guess that would eat up a ton of memory at such a high sample rate. In any case, we worked around it. Sounds haunting, doesn't it?
