In a time when social media is becoming more and more the avenue to successfully present stories in front of large audiences, there really is no reason why more people are not doing what you have done Sandi- especially my generation. It is absolutely pivotal for young adults (like me) in our early-mid 20’s to engage our grandparents who survived the holocaust through different social media mechanisms to guarantee that stories of our direct family members live on!

This video is not only well shot but also very provocative, making the underlying point that if the last generation of living Holocaust survivors do not speak up, specific memories and stories of the Holocaust will be lost forever. Very touching work Sandi- thanks for doing everyone, especially these survivors a great service!

In this era of illegal wars, of governments just plain deny that they are engaged in Genocide and oppression, it is sometimes difficult to understand just how just was WWII. This film breaks my heart. It demands that we keep alive the memory. It warns us that demonizing a group to further a political cause is all to easy and far to dangerous. It is as valid today as it was in 1930.

So many of the survivors that I've met have reached an age where they're ready to tell their stories while still here - not to preach hatred for what happened to them, but to teach and heal, so that another Holocaust will never happen again. My friend, Marion Blumenthal Lazan, a survivor of Bergen Belsen and the infamous Phantom Death Train, has been speaking at schools and colleges for the past ten years, to teach tolerance and understanding at an early age.

This is outstanding and one of the more important works that we can be doing. Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen and to those who participated. You have done an incredible act.

Having recently done my own documentary re the discovery of my family members who died in the Holocaust, plus the ones who barely escaped, I'm especially moved by what you've done. Thank you Sandi!
