  • Oh my GOD! this is EXCELLENT!! awesome works!

  • mercedes 01 ml320 have the same thing. and is damn expensive (Electronic Throttle Actuator) to repair those thing.. Gimme one wire open the throttlebody. Too much safety = fail. The proper name is Electronic Throttle Actuator

  • Failsafe modes do not engage and data codes do not get sent. It truly is a great feeling not knowing how my car is going to react at highway speeds. Plus the fact that I am burning through my brakes and clutch at a unprecedented rate. Awesome, love it, thanks guys! I have 3 Toyota's, a 2000 Avalon, a 2004 Tundra and a 2010 Corolla. Still love the Tundra and the Avalon but unfortunately due Toyota's lack of ability to correct their problem the Corolla will be our last Toyota. See video example.

  • Toyota = Fail!

  • single event upset...Google it

  • What happens when the throttle body gets carbon in it and it sticks? How powerful is the return of the motor on the throttle body?

  • Runs great now near 4 years. Pulls, hauls, drives like a nice car and can beat kids off the line lol! It is just a tool to me but sometimes when youngsters pull up beside me and reb their engines I can't help but show them how fast an ugley truck, off the showroom floor, with tools, wire, fence posts and general junk in the back can kick their rubber burning tails everytime. lol. So that makes me a 63 year old immanure kid? :)

  • I have no idea. You tell me. I used to pull my engine as a kid but now as a older man I let someone else do everything except change batteries and other simple stuff. I bought it in May 2007 brand new, welded the hood shut and took off (joke). I work off road and pulll a heavy trailer. My 4X4 Nissan Pathfinders radiator blew up so I went to Toyota and saw a long 4X4 and bought it. It was bent, scratched, looked like hell within a week.

  • So the throttle pedal physically stuck down? Does your truck have a drive-by-wire throttle or a traditional cable actuated throttle?

  • I still love my 2007 Tundra and only reported for recall because of wife whining. When my Tundra stuck 2X within a year of new purchase all I did is stick my toe under and pull it back, which slowed the truck. Did not complain but guess you should know.
