Yes I believe most people knows lack of oxygen to the brain cause a person to yawn, but the lecturer is right. Overly loud yawn is very disrespectful, I mean I do cover mouth n yawn quietly, so why couldn't that person do that, like put of that 220 students.

What a waste of tuition for a professor to spend two and a half minutes lecturing the class on manners. Yes it was disrespectful, but unless he saw who did it and ejected the person from the class, he should make point quickly and move on.
