  • Hey Brian, what model table topper are you using ? Im having a real problem finding one to fit a 6 foot table like that.

  • @dandrewsDJ That's the old DJ Skirts Table Topper. DJ Skirts are no more, but soon we may see other companies comming out with new and improved product

  • So you mentioned your 'agency' at the end, so does that mean you work alone or are you part of some group of DJs in your area and the company finds you gigs? Might be a good video topic: freelancing vs. group / company

  • @DJAstroStudios it's been covered before

  • @briansredd video title? id like to watch that one lol

  • @dancingmachine01 you know, you can keyword search anything on my channel. to the right of the screen on my main channel page where it says "uploads (1010)". cick on that and enter whatever keyword you like. Videos are done on many things, you just have to put some minimal effort into finding them

  • I have had similar circumstances. The bride, groom and bridal party were all outside smoking and drinking and it was pretty dead at the dance floor until I dragged them all back in.

  • Hey Brian, what amp do you use i'm a begginer dj im 10 and need a small amp for driveing to tower speakers. i'm thinking of getting the Technical Pro DA-B3000 it looks like a nice begginer amp! :) BTW keep being a great dj!!!! :)

  • ya one issue you touched on which I think is a big deal and thats if it takes a long time to get the dance going for reasons of speeches, meals and other stuff that drags out and then when the dancing starts well everyone automatically heads out for a smoke as they have been sitting around it makes th DJ's job very tough to pack the dance floor.

  • Awesome... good summary and advice. The reality of Djing is that when the unexpected happens you need a backup plan or at least the tools knowledge to fix the problem. The venue, table arrangement, dj, setup, crowd all play a part in the success of the function. I think you did a great job considering those factors. Just hope you didn't wear that shirt:)

  • You sumed it up perfectly, i have friends who come and help sometimes at clubs and they do something wrong, or not good and i freak out and they dont get why because i have a reputation and image to show and yhh

  • Good video Brian. Some of the best topics come from spur of the moment issues that crop up on the road :) Glad it worked out. Impressed you got the truck loaded on your own, sorry you had to though buddy. Maybe another 6 months that won't be any problem anymore :)

  • @djfreebey Shout. Lu Lu sang the original of it. theirs also a lively version of it from a group called "monkey circus".

  • @briansredd Ok. I looked into some at IDJNOW, but I don't want a glow facade. Let me know if anything new comes down the line.

  • bsr - great gig bro... 9pm first dance is late... haha! - not with my weddings!! - the setup and facade looks nice with the dual scrim and the mega bars behind you. are you happy with just jellyfish for the dance floor lights?
