  • @jucamo007 Back in 1966 Carlos and Gregg Rolie formed SANTANA .In 1968 the Band recorded an album which by any standards was poor. After playing in Woodstock August 1969 they recorded what is now called Santana,a LP which stayed in the charts for 2 years, and sold in USA only 2 millions. Then there was Abraxas...Herman Hesse--The Album which sold even more, and there is this song which the Band and the producer did not want to be included.Samba Pa Ti.Carlos insisted. And won.

  • Now,,now,,sounds like white boy jes coverin/ defendin his white boy hero ( JM )..Well this ' brown boy gonna cover n defend his brown boy hero ( CS )...there case closed..O by the way they BOTH KIK ASSSSS !! SpYdEr..

  • @tonyzaret Maybe Mac is sadistic and likes to rip Santana to shreds just because he can do it without Santana noticing!!!! ha ha ha!!

  • Why does McLaughlin even bother playing with Santana. Santana has been playing nothing but the same blues licks and minor modes over and over since 1968. He's basically a celebrity who plays the guitar. McLaughlin might as well hand a guitar to Tom Cruise and "jam" with him.

  • very nice!I think the guitar of John is very low Conversely Carlos who is the god ............ randomized; I think not

  • @jucamo007 Agreed (even thought I like a lot of his work); you don't need to grow up - he is the one who should. He hasn't been evolving as a player - actually, his playing has been getting worse and worse. evolving Fortunately, things have been changing - there ale lots of gifted young musicans who are not afraid of hard work.

  • @willmercury ....I ain´t need to grow up believe me,now, santana is just a chain of repetitive licks that any college graduated in music can play easily.he maybe a very spiritual and nice person,(his ego is in the skies, though)but musically speaking he leaves a lot to wish.he doesn´t play anything else, just rock!,does it make him -gifted-or -a monster-..I don´t think so

  • @jucamo007

Your attitude sucks and whatever aesthetic theory you are using to gauge artistic merit is pathetic. Sorry, truth hurts. Grow up.

  • @jucamo007 you have the right to have such an opinion, even if i don't agree

  • @dreecechaves he´s just ok.last word.
