This is text is a New Testament translation into Macedonian language, dialect of Lower Vardar, area between Voden (gr.Έδεσσα), Kukush (gr.Κιλκίς), Solun (gr.Θεσσαλονίκη) and Ber (gr.Βέροιαc)from the end of the 18 century. The manuscript was lost for more than 100 years, and was rediscovered by Finnish historian and philologist Mika Hakkarainen in 2003 in the library of the Greek-Orthodox Patriarchate of
Alexandria. Jouko Lindstedt identified it as the so called Konikovo Evangelie and transliterated it.

  • they can understand, because they speake macedonian language

  • @nanushka15 LOL but a Bulgarian can undertand it .

BUT you can't read what the ancient Macedonians wrote !

a 10 year old Greek child can .

MACEDONIA IS , WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE GREEK / HELLENIC

  • this is masedonian lenguage...not bulgarian!

  • ..this bulgarian dilect is not in use today in macedonia-hellas.

  • So is the Gospel written in Greek alphabet or not?

Is the translation of the Gospel in the local slavic language allowed by the Patriarchate of Konstantinoupolis?

The answer in both questions is YES.

So WHY have you (SlavMaks nationalists) been yelling for decades that some evil Greeks supressed the assuming "Macedonian" Patriarchate of Ohrid by abolishing it in late 18th cent (the one called of Iustiniana Prima and all of Bulgaria BTW) to assimilate all into modern Greek nation?
