So true about the bar being set so low; Philip Clayton is ridiculously awesome. Anyone who can write "Mind and Emergence" and nonetheless talk about theology in congregational life is pretty sharp. Not sure about psychology, aesthetics, and contemporary affairs getting much playing time in most pulpits, though; usually just a bunch of disjointed stories in most of my experience!
