but he didnt invented the stepover, it was invented in street football, ronaldo is the first person to do it on the pitch and make it his signature move.

like the roulette, it's not invented by maradona, the perfect form of a roulette was invented in street football, but zidane got the credit of being the first person to do it on the pitch, from then it was called 'the zidane' just like the stepover is officially name 'the ronaldo dribble'

@rifway22 my dear brother,you are right but you knw something ronaldo is 4 year younger than Figo and I hve seen Figo doing stepover when he was only 13 or 14 in a documentary and his stepover is best and most affective and I have seen Laudrup doing roulette in a 1992 match and it was not invented by Zidane!but I'm not even saying that Figo invented stepover but the point is that Figo and Zidane were very creative and had their special own style of playing!

@WaleedSajjad710 like i said the stepover was invented in the streets, i think ronaldo and denilson were the ones who made it popular. and about the roulette, the first to do it was laszlo kubala, and then di stefano, garrincha. but all of them were incomplete. maradona did it in 360 but its more of a spontaneous way to shield the ball from defenders. and ive only seen once laudrup did the roulette, probably unintentional too. but since maradona, the skill was completed in street football.
