Amber and Earl are homeless living on the streets. Today they happened to be traveling through Denver, Colorado, which is where we met.

Amber has been homeless for 4 years now, ever since the day she turned 18. Earl says his first taste of homelessness was at 16. But that he was "straight up" homeless by 17.

Most of us walk by kids that look like Amber and Earl. But they are real people just like you and me. Most street kids were deprived of a normal family life. Most escape with drugs. The streets become home. It is very sad.

watch this very informative video about human trafficking and homeless youth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVbDX5OU20c

  • For some reason you guys tend to think everyone who is homeless is addicted to drugs....... Guys guys.... get your statistics right..... please don't be blaming everyone out there crying blood to be addicted on drugs.... They scratch so much coz they probably haven't showered in like months..... that is not a crack scratch....

  • The people on these vids the 3 wishes are allways unselfish... and they have nothing.

I've watched a few of these vids and I never heard selfish wishes.

Let this guy ask that to the average person that's not homeless...

you'd get a much different response.

  • @thevinend I already sent her the video I am sure if she wants to contact any one she will.

  • @Kamichaos2121 @Kamichaos2121" I could give a fuck less about the general public" I was trying to tell you I meant nothing by the drinking comment AND your comment? is that kinda not what we are talking about? The general public giving a fuck? Why would they if thats your attitude.

I know the feeling as I was a punk in the 80's & 90's when all the music good music, was underground. We had our own world, with fuking good music! Basements, ware houses

  • @Kamichaos2121 DO NOT! Give her a msg and she can stop by hear if she wants to. Haters, pervs, the superior to tell her she is ?whatever?

  • And for everyone that says that this is shameful. I find it funny cause kids like Amber and Earl bust their ass living like this. They ride trains and have to calculate every second of their day in order to get food to sleep to get out of cities on time. You just have your normal average lives and criticize others for being different. You have never lived like this so how can you make judgements on who they are? Sympathy, no one needs your sympathy besides your self. Sorry you're so sheltered

  • @thevinend I'm not sure if this was directed towards me or not. If it was, I know what you mean. Not everyone is out to get you and at that point in my life I had nothing to loose and I really just wanted to pay it forward for all the people who have let me crash at their house. We met them at a 7-11 and they were staying under a bridge and I know train hoppers when I see them so I offered a warm dry cop free place to sleep.

  • @Teletype3 I dont know. I dont really feel safe giving out her Facebook. If it was me on the other hand I would have no problems but she is out on the road at the moment and doesn't really check it all to often for one and I dont know how she would take me giving out her stuff on Facebook. Ya know? Its nothing personal I just dont want her upset with me.

  • @thevinend Okay, what I said was drank with us considering the fact that we're in our 20's...meaning were (Amber Earl and I) punk kids and in our early 20's I could give a fuck less about the general public. Truth is, Amber and Earl drink and so do I. They travel and have seen and will see more then the average person will ever get to experience in a life time who cares if they enjoy having a beer. They're not on the streets cause they drink thats for a fact.

  • Yes Sir/Sirette (never liked mam) The only thing which helps at that point is you, myself or other like minded people. Not of any certain ilk mind you, the more varied the better-simple ppl who don't see ppl like these guys in any negative sense so they can have faith in human kind. and trust (not blindly, as some will take advantage of any situation.

  • @thevinend You're absolutely right in that if there was such a thing as a "magic wand" type of wish, they would love to have a home permanently, but as the video shows, even more dear is safety. But the reason that it would never enter a traveler or homeless person's mind to wish for such a thing is when you have lost absolutely everything, it almost scars you with the knowledge that nothing is permanent, Everything can be lost in a single moment, be it by your own hand or another.
