Candy

This is Candy. Candy just arrived at the shelter and is very scared and confused right now. She came out of a home environment that she had been in since she was a puppy and she is 2 years old now. Her owner became very ill and cannot care for her anymore. I met Candy today and for a minute she was scared when I came into her kennel. We went for a short walk and then she hung out in the lobby with me for about an hour because I could not BARE to put her back in her kennel. Candy just wants to be loved, she just clings onto whoever she trusts. She is VERY affectionate, a lap dog, and very well behaved. I am not sure how she would be around children. Perhaps older children. She is fine with dogs AND cats. She actually lived with a another dog. Video to come soon! I just love this little girl and hope she is not at the shelter long
