Im a big Police fan, but an even bigger Rush fan, and this song blows! YYZ is infinitely better than this "demo" song Andy threw together after smoking some herb. Grammies are a popularity contest and the Police were more fashionable at the time to the old white men running them.

I like both instrumentals. In fact, Sting apparently became power hungry by 1980 restricting Andy and Stewart to two instrumentals on Zenyatta Mondatta.

I'm a fan of the Police and Rush, and I realize that the Police was an influence to Rush's 80's music. This particular song was something Andy wanted to record. Sting didn't even want to take part in it, so Andy did both parts. Stewart kinda felt like he needed to. The only reason this song went on an album was because someone dug it up. And that is better than YYZ how?
