今屆的「華語紀錄片節」所選映的作品題材包羅萬有，包括：環保、性別議題、長者擇偶、中國知青、電視台風雲、私家偵探生涯及美國華埠戲院史等等。入圍導演來自五湖四海，有­曾獲奧斯卡的、有剛出道的、也有再度入選的，相信今屆影展會為觀眾帶來無限驚喜。
This year, the Chinese Documentary Festival presents thirteen films of high quality and various themes. The topics include: environmental protection, gender issue, sex life of elderly, portrait of a TV station, life of a private detective and the history of Chinese theatres in San Francisco, etc. These remarkable films reflect the ever-changing conditions of the Chinese diaspora.
