From the Broadway revue "Two on the Aisle," which opened at the Mark Hellinger Theater, New York City on July 19, 1951.

In this number Miss Gray portrays a woman who shoots her lover. It's a real tour-de-force of her amazing talent.

  • Nice singing by Dolores. She was so awesome. I like the rare photos too.

  • @rik005hun -

Thanks! She deserves to be much better known.

  • Love it! It's really fast...a lot faster than what I am used to hearing it sung. The best version of this song is Kristin Chenoweth's version. This one is really nice too!

  • This was written for Kaye Ballard in that show, and Dolores took it and forced her out of the production. She did do it very well, but she was a nightmare to work with from various accounts (her mother usually did the actual deeds). Kaye would have been as good at least.
