Firstly, apologies for the out of tune guitar at 1:42. I was bending over and bent the neck, you see.. :)
Aside from that - how is this thing? I mean, how cool is it? In a 200gm pedal? Whoa! Coolness.
There is no literature on the Tube Cake as yet, as far as I can see. It was literally handed to me at the recent Frankfurt show by my friend Sergey (whose English is much better than my Russian..) and I think this one is a prototype. But more info and specs will be coming shortly and you should watch the AMT sites.
AMT Electronics - V. Kampf, A. Chernyaev and S. Marichev - have done it again. More demos of this little beastie shortly.

@Zhorellski No, it hasn't. But it really sounds tube-like without a tube. I liked it most with the S-Drive and the M-Drive, but that is just a matter of taste, the other Drive Series pedals sounds fantastic, too

I had the chance to test this little thing (it was the prototype) wit the new stomp boxes at the Musikmesse with Sergey explaining. Great. Very flexible, very portable.

Great stuff, Burgs. Haven't been able to watch too many videos while deployed, damn bandwidth is horrible! Does the tube cake break up when volume is raised or stay clean(ish)? That V1 is great sounding also. Those cats at AMT really seem to have their act together. Anyway...great stuff.

Wait,,, so that little bastard is a power amp??? Although I chose to go with ENGL E530 preamp rather than AMT SS-20 preamp as I told you before on the message,, I am really impressed by how ATM electronics makes these little things that I want to buy!

@Burgerman666 I should correct myself here: Sergey is part of a three man team - V. Kampf, A. Chernyaev, S. Marichev - and they are ALL freakin' geniuses!
