University of Florida student Andrew Meyer is Tasered and arrested after causing a disturbance at a town hall forum, which featured Senator John Kerry, at the UF Auditorium on Sept. 17, 2007.

Yeah, the transcript is linked on the Univeristy of Florida site under the student group ACCENT's page. But it might be easier to go to the youtube video "Andrew Meyer tased justifiably so, no rights violated ..." He's got the most complete video f it that is on YT (there used to be a slightly longerone at the beginnning where you can see Kerry fussing at Meyer for his earlier outburts). If you read the description, he has several links to transcript/witness statements/police reports/interviews

That woman is the girl who Meyer handed his camera to before he started speaking. There is a lot more to this if you read the witness reports. He did much more than ask a question, and fact is, Kerry answered in detail (it's in the transcript).

But you only saw a couple of minutes of edited video. What if the students there agreed with his removal (many of them cheered, and said so in the witness reports, so this isn't a far flung theory)? What if they heard the cops camlmly tell him over & over to stop fighting or they'd have to use the taser to cuff him (which you can hear on some videos & read in witness reports)?

My point is, whhy would they pile on if they agreed with his removal & felt HE, not the cops, was escelating things?
