University of Florida student Andrew Meyer is Tasered and arrested after causing a disturbance at a town hall forum, which featured Senator John Kerry, at the UF Auditorium on Sept. 17, 2007.

I won't condone his behavior leading up to being tased, but why WAS he being escorted out? For asking the wrong question to a politician? Seems like a police state.

@OfficerBison Well he wasn't fighting them. You can't fight a police officer with your hands above your head like he was doing to show he wasn't fighting them. He was invited to that meeting and he was asking a question. If they would have let him talk for 1 more minute he would of just sat down and it would be forgotten. It just seems like a lot of communities officers aren't trained worth shit anymore. I'm assuming you're an officer. how would you have handled the situation? The same?

@DoorGunnerNam67 Does it occur to you as well that there is no justice in either action, that it is outrageous for police to interfere in any way when one is asking a question of a public office holder when the person asking the question, as they did so soon after he began, was INVITED to do so and presented no threat, "attitude" notwithstanding??
