Dear Lord, bring our troops home quickly and safely!
-
-"Now I urge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction." -1 Corinthians 1:10.
We need to be focused on the things of Above, not the things of below.

fucking legend .. god bless our soldiers

@bigbadmamajama11 Yes, we need to stand up for what is right. But that still doesn't answer my question. If you say part standing up for what is right is discouraging war, am I a bad person because I'm not anti war? Where in the Bible does it say that if you follow Christ you have to take a stand oppose all wars or your just "joining the norm" and being "politically correct"? Besides the point of this song is not meant to be about the idea of war, its a story of a mother and her son.
-
@palmcroft6 Yes that is correct we are made Free from this terrible world through HOSANNA death on the cross... that is why we must stand up for what is right... drop the trying to join the norm or the political correctness because we have nothing and will never truely have nothing only what has been given to us so graciously through Christ... Christians must start standing up for what is right and agiainst the socalled elite rulersofthisworld(Satan and Watchers free-babylon cronies)

@bigbadmamajama11 Also, a better word would be Freedom for our sins. We were made free in Christ.
-
@bigbadmamajama11 Sorry I left that last part with not the best wording. But to be clear, when I said Christian music doesnt have a point to make, I was referr or war or political party or anything like that. Of course the mission is to proclaim faith. Also, since when does being a Christian mean you have to hate war? I'm a Christian and I am certainly not anti war. Does that mean I'm using the Bible as a platform as war propaganda? Does that mean I'm policing people around and promote killing?
-
@palmcroft6 LOL to hate war is not a Political stance.... Christians are peace makers that is what Christ came for right....Peace for us.. Peace from our sins to be free... not to police people and kill and our Political leaders who "are not really Christian" to hide behind our bible and use it for war propaganda... Christian does have a agenda to reach people to worship GOD to say what we Chrisitan feel and about our faith...Have you not read Pslams??
-
@bigbadmamajama11 Really? The point of this song is not to take some political stance on war. The point of the song is an emotional story that Mark wrote a song about after reading letters to his great grandmother from her sons in WWII. Why would any christian artist want to make their songs have an agenda? This is one of Mark's best songs and a fantastic song. non Christian music, of course has agendas or some type of point to make (most of the time). Christian music isnt about politics.
This song makes me cry everytime!
