Eminem's Grandma Betty On His Childhood & Relationships - 2001 Interview

Eminem's grandmother Betty Kresin talks about Eminem being bullied at school and the stories of him being put in a coma as a child, Em using his late uncle Ronnie for the hit single 'Stan', Hailie, Em's 2000 gun charges, the unwanted advances of a gay fan & on the rift between them in an interview with Radio 1's Briggy Smale on February 9, 2001.

Eminem wanted to use a freestyle rap by Ronnie on a song dedicated to him on The Marshall Mathers LP. Betty sent Eminem a package around May 2000. Eminem opened it up to see a note that read "Marshall, I found Ronnie's last tape, maybe you could use it." But Em says that it was actually an audio recording of his uncle Ronnie's funeral - which Eminem did not attend because he was in shock & because they had held an open casket viewing... So don't believe everything that this lady is sayin'..
