can i use for the stering a car Windshield Wiper and use your diagram from the buil info?

Yes, my SSR Driver will run a OLD STYLE windshield wiper motor. BUT the newer motors with sensing contacts and electronics will give you trouble. You need the one that only spins around and around and you need to "disable" the sensing switches. I tried this first and the gearing was way to fast and it didn't have enough power. But, you might find a way to make it work that I didn't think of. I would like to see your progress so shoot me some pics or a vid when you get a chance.

Yes, steering is proportional and has 500 pounds of pull. You can see the Solid State Relay Driver I made for the 12V linear actuator on my web page. The address is in the description of this video.
