Tomb Raider 3 Speedrun - Lud's Gate

Speedrun of Lud's Gate done in 5:39. Two nice shortcuts in this one. The first being the barbwire trick, and 2nd the flying UPV bug to skip most of the level. Much thanks to MMAN and tombbugs.hu for the shortcuts.

I literally just somehow managed to finish this level (non-speedrun) without ever collecting the Embalming Fluid, let alone delivering it lol is this a known route through the level or would you like to see a vid? I'm fairly sure I remember what route I took.

Yea I know about that, the way I go also allows you to skip that pickup.

nearly completed this game now finding all secretes and this is still the only level i needed a guide for 2 secretes, very hard game, shocking to see speed runs like these

@Quidiffer cool, ill see if i can do the rest of the game without guide help, its gna be tough, ill let u kno if i do it :p. i managed to get all secretes in TR2 without a guide and i needed the guide for 1 secrete in TR1, so far for TR3 its been used for 2 secretes (luds gate) but i will be as stubborn as i can and try not to use it again ;p

@87TheProdigy87 thats really good then. The hardest secret in the game is the last one on tinnos depending on how you play the level (i always left it til last)

@Quidiffer so far ive been through the india,south pacific and london levels up to luds gate and found all secretes without a guide, but i got through this level for the first time today checking every inch of the whole level for secretes, and found 4 out of 6 so i resorted to using the guide because i felt certain i checked everywhere carefully. the ones i missed were the 2nd one, and the 6th one. i found south pacific secretes the hardest so far. except for a few on luds gate.

@87TheProdigy87 yeah i did use a guide for the secrets as its a ridiculously hard game, i did the game 4 times through because i enjoyed it that much :) However without a guide i dont believe anyone could get all secrets on a game like this...

@Quidiffer im guessing you had guide help? because finding all secretes with no guide or not knowing where they are on a level like this in an hour is very good. VERY GOOD. more like 3 - 4 hours
