FMX Ramp Construction ATV / MX BIKE Compatible (UPDATED)

This is a shop project i am constructing... The designs are my own, the only thing i have used from a different source is the picture you see... I needed an angle to work with and this was great. I found the picture on google.

If you have any questions feel free to messege me... Ill do my best

And remember This is "not" finished yet... I still have alot of work to do... so please dont make comments about how something doesnt look right or im doing something wrong.... A month of planning/Math went into this before i started... Believe me... Its going to be fine.

o and the size of the jump is very important coorilation with the jump.... If you have a small jump with a very steep angle... DONT HIT IT GOING VERY FAST!!... It will throw your back end up and your going to eat it.... With the steeper angle... The jump needs to be bigger if your planning on hitting it with some speed... So if you want a steep angle on your tabletop to pop you up... the jump is going to need to be farly big so you dont end up going over the handlebars

thanks man that def helped, im gonna rent a bob cat some time soon and get to work on a few, im thinkin of buildin a fmx ramp with a dirt landing jum 2, just for fun. Have you hit this jump yet? Do you think it makes a difference if you build a wood or metal ramp?

naw not yet... its still being built... Cant wait until its done though...Metal lasts longer and is much safer... but a wood ramp is easier and cheaper to build. For the jumping exp. They are both the same.

hey mate it must of been a hell of a bitch to get that round tube into the shape of the ramp, i just finished my ramp and all i did was get right angle made then tacked a strip of 3mm x 50mm sheet as the curve and it did all the work for me haha sure you had fun bending that tube

How do you know where to put the landing dirt ramp, is there some formula or ratio from ramp to jump distance to put the landing ramp.??????
