uhm...i do not mean to be disrespectful to another Christian denomination but i'd like 2 point out that in Matt 1:25 is says she was pretty much no longer a virgin cuz joseph 'knew' her. srry.

This is tp verify that mary gave birth without having sexual relations. It does not say she had relations after Jesus was born. Why would someone have relations with anyone, knowing that your son is God?

Mary is not equel to Jesus and she was Not without sin and she is not in heaven taking prayers for you and netiher are any other dead saints! Jesus said you are not to pray to dead people because they cannot hear you because there dead. You Catholic's do not read the bible and if you do you read the NAB what is known a lie! You are not Christians! Catholicism is a false religion. Your God is a Wafer and a cup of wine.

Dont compare the Mother of God with a false pagan deity. Its insulting. And the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God DOES exsist, unlike pagan deitys. Weather you like it or not and weather you believe it or not. If you dont have something nice to say about the Mother of God, it is best you dont say anything at all.

@mikestheman3 it's meaning is that once you die the state of your soul at death determines if you are saved or not and there is nothing you can know or do after that to change your destination. Paul writes in Philippians 1:23–24, "I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body." Paul says he will be with Jesus when he dies.

@28804ecorrell In all respect why do they venerate her? Mary is dead in her grave awaiting the resurrection on the last day just like everyone else that has died in Christ. Mary needed a Savior just like we all do. God picked her because he needed a righteous virgin, nothing more nothing less, she's not above anyone.

Catholics do NOT worship Mary, they venerate her. There IS a difference between worship and venerate, look it up! Catholics worship ONLY God!! Get that through your thick skulls already!
