@gerardolombana you can use a different hard drive yes but the sata controllers must remain in AHCI mode.

@xdanielpowellmusic The machine in this video was about $1200-$1400 depending on where you buy the parts from and the market price. But I have built one for as low as $450 and I could have gone lower to $400 if I had done it a little bit different. I have a video on that and it is called the $450 Budget Hackintosh. @johnnythegeek1 Because the one in this video would cost you $2400 to start. The $450 hackintosh would be a $600 mac mini. But the $450 can be upgraded. The mac mini can not.
