Fairly good presentation on the system. However some of your facts are not necessarily correct. There are options available to the airlines that you don't mention. Such as the cargo fire protection system has TWO fire suppression extinguishers (bottles) in the aft end of the forward cargo. Also, the fire/overheat loops also follow the bleed air system as it routed throughout the aircraft. Grade? I'd give you an A- on this presentation.

Although it's apparent the system was designed for a "2-bottle approach", the company that I worked for, (American), went with the single bottle design. The manufacturer claims "additional protection" for up to one hour after discharging a single Cargo Fire Bottle. This gives most domestic Pilots a sufficient window of opportunity to get their plane to safety. I invite feedback from anyone with more information. Thank's again.

Thank you for your comments. First, you are correct regarding the duct overheat detectors. I chose to focus my talk on Fire Protection, ie. "detect & extinguish", and did not cover the Wing/Body Overheat system. I'll include this distinction in future presentations.
As for your comment on the Cargo Fire Bottle, I'm a little surprised that the FAA approved a single bottle approach. I'm not familiar with carriers that ordered the optional 2nd bottle for the 737-800.
