This video with my son Charlie explains the inspiration for The Remedy. I am OVERWHELMINGLY HAPPY to say Charlie is cancer free since his last treatment in March 2002!

  • ok, so my really good friend is jessie mingroni (charlie's younger sister) and she told me the whole story... i've never seen this until i just stumbled upon it today. I'm interested in how they told it and how accurate it truely is. I've met charlie and jason and they are really the best of friends

    :D uplifting story

  • Hello Jessie's friend. The only thing in the story they got wrong is surgery was not immediate. With Ewings Sarcoma, they give you chemo for 2-3 months before surgery to shrink the tumor. Everything else is right-on. And Charlie is still doing great. We go to Jason's concert in a few weeks in Richmond and I look forward to seeing him. Tell sweet Jessie hello.

  • Your son is truly a hero!

  • A beautiful song with a beautiful story....

  • Charlie, i love people like you!

  • My boyfriend has osteosarcoma. His leg was amputated, but not before the cancer spread to his lungs. He recently relapsed and is going through chemo.

I've always knows what this song was about, but it didn't hit home until now. It makes me happy to know of someone who has survived bone cancer. Gives me hope that my boyfriend can do it to.

Well hello! I am sure I will meet you at the wedding. Sorry I am so late responding. I didn't know you had written a comment until I was watching the video, which I do from time to time. Hello to Steph for me.
