I like it!
The acting could use some attention but who am I to critizise ;-)
-
So what if the acting sucks??? One has to admire the effort that go into these!

Great - well done indeed. Just needs a wee injection of Shatnerism (energetic performance) and there'll be there!

I admire the passion that goes into making these fan films. It's wonderful that they've made their love of Star Trek concrete! Way to go.
That bridge set is awesome, by the way!

@contessaoreilly kirk also came into the picture as captian of the faragut in New Voyages In Harms Way
which was ofc based on mainstream TOS eppisode The Doomesday Machine

More like USS Faggot, ammirite??

The guy playing the Captain definitely needs some acting lessons. Seen worse, tho.
And his shirt....needs to fit just a bit more snugly.
Overall, very good.

Late comer to this series. I like the intro very much. Awesome rendering of Jupiter station. Geek girl approves!

This is the first time I've seen 'Farragut' and a couple other fan Trek's. Simply amazing. This one, especially. I'd say let the whole cast/crew take one or two years of schooling to polish up and employ the whole deal to real television. Let Trek live! And, this can do it.

the guys playing the captain, and mr baker are kinda cute

@BarryDennen12 The captain.... is ... monotone... and.... acts like a person..... who isn't even interested... in acting.

this is a neat show
Never seen this. Are they useing New Voyages sets?

They used the Phase 2 sets for this film. Due to the drive time from Washington DC to New York, they are building their own sets now.

Oddly enough, the 3rd episode of The Original Series, entitled "Where No Man Has Gone Before", was aired on 9/22/1966 but was actually the first episode in terms of the stardate. It takes place on stardate 1312.4, whereas the first episode (aired 9/8/1966), entitled "The Man Trap", took place on stardate 1513.1.

In the TNG era there were precisely 1000 stardates per year with May 24th being the "new years day" for stardates. (i.e Stardate 56000 would be Wednesday May 24, 2378 and stardate 57000 would be Thursday May 24, 2379.
