  • I was almost in tears when i watched this, i wish i could've meet him, his personality was a bit darker, but sempt like a guy you could easily get along with, not to mention to pick up some tips from him. Rest In Peace John Alec "Thunderfingers" Entwistle

  • John Entwistle is with Keith Moon right now

  • R.I.P

  • this is the only youtube video that ever came close to making me cry..........alright so it did make me cry..................OMG i hate all my friends for not loving the who:,(

  • without entwistle most bass lines would have been real choppy and short

  • I've loved The Who's music since they first hit the airwaves in the sixties. The Ox was and will always be the best bass guitarist to ever pick up a four string. However, I'll never forgive him for depriving us of untold years of his talent by using coke knowing he had a heart condition.

  • he is the greatest bass guitarist of all time indeed.

he invented ' lead bass '

which is when u carry a songs

melody on your bass guitar playing

no-one else could or think about doing that before.

he was so loud and aggressive and a technical expert of the instrument.

these bass players geddy lee, geezer butler, chris squire,

steve harris, lemmy, and cliff burton

wouldn't of existed without the influence of John Entwistle.

  • Thanks Ox.. You ddn't say a lot but then you didn't have to. God bless man.

  • he now belongs to the earth he will rest in peace while we listen to his music that he has left us. his will to all of us is his unequaled bass playing. that will never die

  • ohh my fucking god that video really was excelent!

    nie job!!

it.. it really was so fucking good!
