A video that shows the organization and work required to handle 1400 people. The wolves were there and did howl and to hear 1400 applaud in total darkness on the roadside was amazing.

We were there this summer 2011, it was pitch black and most people were out of their cars and it was just getting silent. When a man let out the biggest fart you ever heard!!! Everyone broke out laughing so hard you couldn't stop. We quieted down just in time as the naturalist began the first round of howls.

We saw a wolf howl at Algonquin last summer. Kids stayed up all night with excitement and passed out in the van 10 minutes before we heard the howl. LOL
What an amazing experience though, too bad the kids missed it!

I've been to a wolf howl in Algonquin and it's the most beautiful thing when you get a response. It's pretty funny to see one person make a sound when they shouldn't and have everyone stare them down.
