Islamic sexual morality can be traced directly to social rules in ancient, pre-human cooperative tribes.
All the islamic rules about torturing unfaithful women to death (stoning), cutting of the clitoris, having multiple wives, putting bags on the head, are all methods by which male-dominated tribes ensured that the man can control who's sperm is in the womb.
