Soccer Aid films - Ewan McGregor in Malawi

The Soccer Aid TV programme, broadcast in May 2006, included six films featuring UNICEF Ambassadors telling the stories of children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS, malaria, malnutrition, lack of education, lack of clean water and abandonment. These are the areas of our work that money raised by Soccer Aid supports.

In this film Ewan McGregor, speaks about the malnutrition experienced by children in Malawi and what UNICEF and partners are doing to help.

In Malawi 22 per cent of children are underweight and 5 per cent of children are severely malnourished.
