this looks like Monopoly's in Riverside, CA, not Spanky's.

Correction... It's not Spanky's Cafe. Spanky's Cafe was a crawl space that did not have acoustics quite like that. And was raided almost every night by the Fire Marshall for having too many people crammed into it. Keyword in the name, is Cafe. It was an Italian Rest. They had to move the salad bar for bands to have room to play.

I don't think it's Spanky's either... wish we could see some Applekore or Those Guys from back in the day!
-
Also, Let's Get Back was written in LATE 1991 (the very last song written before the album was recorded around Christmas time in 1991).

Not sure if it's Spanky's (although it looks like it could be), but definitely NOT 1990. If it were 1990, Tom's hair would still have been shoulder length and bleach blonde (he didn't cut it short until the middle of 1992).

@basoco77 Yep...this was Spanky's in Riverside. There was a lot of OC bands that played there back when. I saw Insted there as well maybe 6 months or so before this show. This is not the Spanky's porn shop dude.

@BOZACK50 You are so lucky!!!!

Where is- or was spanky's ?

Too damn cool. I remember this show. Went to school with Tony and he is a really cool guy...genuinely nice. This band went through some big ups and downs early on. I'm glad they persevered.
I was fortunate enough to see a lot of these shows by ditching school...saw them with fishbone and Sublime, as well as Untouchables.
Gwen is as sweet as she seems and they always welcomed all of us into the Beacon Street house. Salud to all your success guys!
