Adolf Hitler wasn't even an atheist. Mao took power because the previous Chinese government was heavily corrupt and the Chinese people wanted change. Pol Pot and his goons were just degenerative and crazy. Lastly, Joseph Stalin really just set up a religion around himself and killed off anyone who called him out. These people are just assholes but not because of atheism, but because they were shitty people.

Before Hitler was in power, he wrote a book, Mein Kampf, where he promoted "positive Christianity", a movement that purged Christianity of its Jewish elements and installed Nazi philosophy. He even said it in a few of his speeches: According to biographer John Toland, Hitler was still "a member in good standing of the Church of Rome despite his detestation of its hierarchy, he carried within himself its teaching that the Jew was the killer of God.

A lot of sources can support me there.

hitler was not an atheist, but there is no evidence in any of his writing nor any credible historical studies that demonstrate that his hatred for jews had anything to do with christianity except for what was said in speeches. in fact it's quite the opposite. i'm not sure where you get your facts from (you dont say) but your assertions aren't supported by any evidence i have heard of. if there are books where this claim is backed up, please tell me. otherwise, don't talk out of your ass

I understand that. He used the fact that Jewish people "subjugated" Germany to make everyone hate them, and yes, he said it in his own words but that wasn't the only reason why he wanted them dead. Hitler had his own religiously bigoted reasons for hating them, as did a lot of Catholics back then and today. But that wasn't my argument towards animaldude97. The guy said Hitler was an atheist. Hitler was not an atheist.

read The Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich and Mein Kampf and you will have a better understand of why Hitler hates Jews. It had nothing to do with killing Christ, he just used that in his speeches to rile up the people. He felt the Jews profited from a weakened and subjugated Germany and he blamed them for all of Germany's problems. He said it in his own words, so I suggest you look it up.
