@zaku617 Just an outsider here. You really have to set aside the Guillows wood and use a good contest grade from someone like Riley Wooten at Lone Star Balsa in Texas. Guillows wood is good for us guys who are all thumbs since it is very strong, but heavy. Use good Japanes tissue with just a very light coat of nitrate dope and it will fly. Also, their supplied plastic prop has much to be desired. Make one from balsa with more pitch and it will work better. Hope this helps. Bill

@zaku617 actually, guillows make rubber powered models so that you just twist the prop let let go and they fly

amazing! amazing! i have a guillows spitfire i used printing paper. it allmost flu 4 feet its like a brick.so wen i got a p-51d mustang i called guillows for help because i hated working so hard on brick. they were great! they said : 50% wite glue 50%water.
i did not have wite glue so i used my titebond III (3) bad idea next time i will use wite glue i mite re do my wings. anyways great flying!

AMAZING! I never new a guillow's kit could fly, thought they were flying bricks. did you modify yours at all?

I don't know much details of the model.
The model belongs to Ron (youtube user ronminiatures). I am sure he will be pleased to tell you about the mods.I only know about the greatly increased dihedral on his Spitfire.
