With the release of their book "Murdered by Mumia" on Thursday December 6, authors Maureen Faulkner and Michael Smerconish embark on a whirlwind book signing tour of the greater Philadelphia area, including events in PA, NJ, and DE.

Saturday afternoon December 8 found them at Borders Books in Mt. Laurel, NJ where hundreds of supporters turned out.

Maureen's husband, Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, was murdered by Mumia Abu-Jamal in December 1981. After 26 years, he sits on death row still, while his lawyers continue to concoct absurd reasons for further appeals.

Michael Smerconish is host of his own radio talk show in Philadelphia on The Big Talker 1210 WPHT.

  • The profit from this book is just another way that the parasitic Smerconish benefits from hurting framed folk-hero Mumia. In Smerconish's borderline-retarded mind, Mumia is guilty because he is black and the so-called victim is white. The former is incapable of critical thinking. It couldn't just be that Mumia did not receive a fair trial and may even have acted in his own and/or his brother's defense. Philadelphia cops are the scum of the Earth; their innocent victims, such as Mumia, are not.

    More like "JOKE-hero"....

  • Really, where is your proof to all of this???

  • Good luck Mrs. Faulkner. I hope they fry Mumia during your lifetime so you can have some closure. I can't believe that people would actually defend an obviously guilty cop killer!

  • I volunteer to flip the switch on mumia

  • Mumia Abu-Jamal is the definitive folk hero if really he killed the racist pig who was trying to kill his brother. The real victim is Mumia, not the pig felon whom he allegedly killed. I celebrate each time a felon dies, whether or not he is a coward who hides behind a badge. Mumia is not a saint, but his character is infinitely superior to that of all pigs, especially the pig whom he purportedly killed. We will never know what really happened, as Mumia did not receive a fair trial.

  • The slain pig's wife is as naive as a white woman can be. She actually believes the fairy tales told by the lying pig scum. Yes, Ms. Faulkner, Philadelphia police officers are always honorable and never feloniously violate the Constitutional rights of anyone, especially black men. For no reason at all, the evil Mumia Abu-Jamal murdered your husband, who was doing nothing wrong. It is no wonder that Ms. Faulkner also believes in other fictions, such as those told by the Bible. FREE MUMIA!

  • @undeadpresident Had Philly pigs not trashed the Constitutional rights of Mumia and his brother, one racist, felonious cop might still be alive.

  • Dumb and dumber. Faulkner is as uneducated, naive and sheltered as they get. Smerconish's self-professed 800 SAT score extrapolates to a borderline-retarded IQ.

    A par-for-the-course right-wing interview.

  • @undeadpresident BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH...you shit out your mouth everyday!

  • Mumia doesn't deserve what has happened to him. He is denied fair trial because the government doesn't want a man with this much intelligence and integrity to be free because he is a threat to their sinister, warmongering, tyrannical rule.

  • @sclocc Douchebag.
