600 tonnes, an estimated 78,000 sharks, are killed each year within the Great barrier Reef marine park and world heritage area, exporting the fins and selling the body for meat in this country... only you can help stop this, by sending a letter to the government before the review in Feb 2012...

the letter is on the first page, just scroll down, to find it and the addresses to send it from you email... add a personal message...

My name is Madison Stewart, i have been behind my video camera for just over 4 years now, all began when i found out our government allows sharks to be removed form the GBR, with a number of inaccuracies within the fishery and with shark populations on the GBR being down by 97% in some areas, i made this film to get your help, and show you the reef through my eyes, it is up to us now... LET THEM KNOW THE WORLD IS WATCHING. send your letters.

on behalf of the sharks and myself, thank you. and time will tell.

  • Madi you are a champion for our sharks

  • The loss of sharks is one of the greatest tragedies of our time. Not only for the sharks, but for the very seas themselves. Without sharks ecosystems collapse, reefs die and the food chain goes haywire. Beautiful video.

  • Madi this is a great video! i'm sharing it with mex dive community, we r having the same kind of trouble in 1 of the most beautiful places to dive in Mexico, Playa del Carmen (very close to Cozumel) we have the yearly visit of great numbers of bull sharks, years ago diving operators start taking divers to meet the bull sharks unfortunately some of them start feeding the bull sharks and now fisherman for surrounding towns r coming to kill them since it is now an easy kill and they make easy money

  • Butyfull video.
