@thesnobsupreme No, you're right, I agree that all dance music isn't "intelligent." I appreciate all the different styles, really. I just find it funny that artists attach the label to their music, thinking it's somehow superior to other styles....Besides all that, Deru is an extremely talented artist. I discovered him fairly recently :)

@doowoppp Yes IDM is a fairly worthless term, but not because all dance music is intelligent. the term is worthless because so-called IDM isnt even really dance music. it may have ties to dance music, but in spirit it is different. in case youre wondering why i am going against my own sentence, i wrote that a few years ago..
