@DrGoodGrow Hi Glad you did it. That method was the 1st one I took apart in 1983. It was a flower box and the tube went down the side and made a U then went back up. To get a drip all you have to do is close off the bitter end of the tube and put a hole everywhere you want it to drip out.. The water droplets travel down the tube and roll over all the holes on the way building up the drop until it drips. Very simple but very good for the plants. It is a highly oxygenated form of irrigation.

Wow i did it!! Thanks man i get how it works now. I made a small hole in the air line about the middle of the tube. Then put that hole under water with the end above the water in a U shape. And BAM water came out as soon as i turned it on. its a bit loud and shoots water pellets but still VERY cool. How can i make the water flow out in a steady stream and NOT shoot out pellets of water?
Is this the same one from the other video? I recognized the folgers can, but the rest looks quite different. You used some very clever ways to aerate & contain. The only thing I would suggest you look into is some of the tubs you are using. Not all plastic is safe for fish (common storage totes for example). Usually food grade buckets & plant pots are safe for both plants & animals. You could possibly harm your fish by flowing water over so much inappropriate plastic. Nice job.

@DontFriendInviteMe LOL .. I had to come back and make clear something after re-reading what I said. the "nice job" was sincere, not a sarcastic "good going dumbass" type of statement. lol Just sayin' :oP

@DontFriendInviteMe Hi the buckets are from a ranch supply intended for livestock also some larger plastic and rubber containers from the same place all for livestock. Some of the other plastics are used just to demonstrate. Thank you for commenting. I have air powered water pumps that are easy to make and aerate the nutrient solution or fish tank at the same time they are pumping water. New site is --> airpoweredhydroponicgardening dotcom Thank you for commenting.

@tkrimo I work in the plastics industry. Those "drowning baby buckets" are also safe for fish & easily available. Just never use recycled plastics, you never know what is going into it. it's often a mix of similar plastics, but not always non-toxic for fish. When I saw the low rectangle storage bin, it made me think about the time I used one of those to grow dandelions (for roots) and they died of toxicity. :o( If it can kill a dandelion, I can only imagine LOL

@DontFriendInviteMe Hi Thank you for taking the time to respond. I have 2 questions if you don't mind. would the toxic level be the same even if fertilizers aren't used with the water used being fish water from the pond.
The other question is on using new 55 gal barrels which I use in some of my videos. I got them new will the fish effluent act adversely with the plastic? Thank you again Take care Tip and Laura
